The A Side: A Day in The Life
Located within the Global Copyright department of our Global Administration organisation, this new role will support UMPG’s offices as they take on the administration of new catalogs and ongoing repertoire delivery. The successful applicant will be well supported by a friendly, knowledgeable team in London as well as by our wider Global Administration team located in Nashville, TN.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Collaborative
- Liaise with stakeholders, identify and resolve transitional issues and ensure data quality standards are met
- Communicate with deal owning offices to schedule and coordinate delivery timelines
- Ensure that deal owning offices and Global Copyright are aware of any nuanced registration requirements
Be Organised
- Coordinate the ongoing ingestion of catalog deliveries for key partners delivering copyright data at scale
- Ad hoc data enrichment activities
- Ensure that the data is accurate and complies with UMPG data standards and controls
- Other copyright-based projects and responsibilities as needed in response to changing business requirements
Be Technical
- Use our bespoke technologies to support the take-on and implementation of nominated key catalogs in the UMPG system
- Assist with requirement building and UAT for the ongoing development of our bespoke systems and tools
Person Specification
Necessary
- Abroad understanding of operational copyright processes and a technical, analytical nature
- Be highly organised and motivated
- An affinity for working with large datasets
- A team player with the ability to use initiative when required
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- An aptitude for logical thinking and problem solving
- A willingness and ability to learn and effectively use multiple bespoke systems
- Excellent analytical skills including Excel and/or SQL, or equivalent skills
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable
- A passion for music
- Experience of supply chain, release management, stock management or physical distribution is an advantage
