Sony Music is seeking an enthusiastic Artist Relations Coordinator who is passionate about working in the music industry. We are looking for someone who is proactive with excellent written and verbal communications skills who will be responsible for providing administrative related support for the team. This will involve supporting the organisation of key events including annual awards parties and fan playbacks and the administration and distribution of tickets for tours. You will be expected assist the VP of Artist and Company Relations on admin and diary management when required. We’re looking for an energetic and approachable team player, with a can do attitude and a hunger to learn.
What you'll do:
- Circulation of tours, co-ordination and distribution of tickets, liaison with promoters and Sony Music employees, and raising all paperwork relating to this including supervision and control of all festival tickets and passes and attendance at festivals /shows if required
- Assist with organising internal and external playbacks and events, smaller showcases which may include helping with guest list on entry to event and ensuring event diary is up to date. Larger events will include the Brits and SME UK Summer Party
- Responsible for all paperwork and related admin activities for the above events and tours including processing invoices, arranging backstage passes and hospitality at shows and continual maintenance of wristbands
- Create and maintain the department venue lists, management and artist details
- Supervise and control all gift buying for artist and staff birthdays, weddings, or major life events
- Maintain relevant information on all artists on our roster including key senior stakeholders to assist with administrative activities associated with key annual events.
- Organise department weekly meetings including managing agendas and supporting with admin
Who you are:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, music industry experience preferred
- Clear and concise verbal and written communicator. Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to interact with confidence at different levels and functions internally and externally
- Bring professionalism and the skills necessary to establish and maintain credibility and diplomacy
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail and time management
